Sample Picking Specialist
Company Introduction:
MOOV Logistics (Shanghai) is a logistics service provider that combines the qualities of a multinational company with those of a family owned business. Besides a very high service level for our customers, MOOV has a strong appreciation for our colleagues and provides ample space for personal development. We highly appreciate individual contributions of our colleagues in order to keep and improve the service level in the constantly shifting logistics market. We are a healthy company with a steady growth year on year.
Responsibilities:
– Check if the goods that are delivered to the warehouse are delivered in the correct manner.
– Register and report about products and situations that do not live up to our quality standards
– Randomly pick cartons in the warehouse and make these available to a third party inspection company that will inspect the goods
– Ensure that our operational procedures are followed and report to us when they are not
– You will be the face to our customer for all issues related to the quality inspection
– You will be based at our Shanghai warehouse
– Stay in touch with our colleagues at our other warehouses in China
– Travel to other warehouse destination upon request
– Support on customer visits to the warehouse
Requirements：
– You are a university graduate ideally with experience working in logistics/warehousing
– You are living in Shanghai Lingang and stable
– You are pragmatic, reliable and loyal
– You are trustworthy and dedicated to your work
– You are “hands on”
– You are precise and accurate
– Your word is your bond
– You know how to plan, organize and work independently
– Clear communication with colleagues and customers comes naturally to you
– Be able to focus during stressful times and can put things in perspective
– Always look for solutions and are good at working in a team

Contract Logistics Manager
Responsibilities：
- Explore, visit, nominate suppliers to be integrated into the company approved supplier pool
- Manage relationship and evaluate performance of company approved suppliers
- Explore and Request prices from multiple selected sources for each request to find the best solution
- Provide quotations/fill out tenders in necessary quality image formats in a timely manner
- Advise sales team the selling price and advise the possible reductions if needed
- Price benchmarking + market analysis and reporting to benchmark and optimize our products
- Negotiate with suppliers for reductions to optimize margins
- Prepare quotations and solutions for partners of logistics networks we belong to
- Proactively develop new solutions for opportunities introduced by sales or management
- Study contract logistics project requirements along MOOV strategic-selected industries and prepare tailored solutions
Requirements：
- Fluent Chinese speaking
- Fluent English speaking
- Experience：
- At least 5 years’ experience in pricing/solutions/procurement-related role for contract logistics (focus warehouse and trucking) in China or at least 10 years’ experience in other logistics roles related to contract logistics (focus warehouse and trucking)
- Proactive attitude and not afraid to ask for reductions or other topics to suppliers or internally
- Willing to learn about new products and requirements and support the pricing for them.
- Follow company-created structures for reporting related to the job position
