Full-stack software development
Job Description
We are a Dutch logistics company based in Shanghai. We have an ambitious digital transformation agenda and roadmap. This includes connecting our applications together, building digital services for internal and external stakeholders, collecting data from different (internal & external) sources, ensuring a high level of data quality and consolidating the most relevant information into portals and reports so that our stakeholders get the reporting and intelligence they desire in real time.
As our digital transformation manager, you will be responsible for the design and execution of our digital transformation road map. This means defining our future platform architecture, designing solutions, working together with our development team (which we have currently outsourced), confirming the feasibility of new requirements and estimates, and of course ensuring the solutions gets properly tested and rolled out within our organization. We will require you to be very much hands on and you will have the flexibility to shape your team, hire resources and suggest improvements to the team. You will be in charge of our digital transformation journey!

Based in Shanghai City office, near Shanghai railway station. Infrequent travel (1 to 2 days per month) may be required to our warehouse location in South Shanghai (you can use the company car or stay in our company apartment).
Skills
Education and work experience:
- 5 – 10 years of experience in roles such as solutions architect, ERP consultant or development lead
- Experience with ERP and/or OMS solutions is required; preferably multiple different service oriented ERP like SAP Hana, Kingdee or Netsuite
- Experience with distributed systems and (API) integration projects is required
- Knowledge of technologies like Java, XML, JSON, SQL, Spring Boot, Angular, CSS, Nginx, Redis, PostgreSQL is a big plus
- Knowledge of- or experience with middle-ware solutions like Apache Camel or similar and technologies like REST, SOAP, PHP is a big plus
- Experience with Agile
- Excellent communications and team management skills are required
- Good English (written and verbal) communication is required
- Proficient mandarin (verbal) communication is preferred
- Experience in logistics, e-commerce, supply chain or trading (import / export) is required
- Experience with working in international companies or start-ups is a plus
- Experience with order management or OMS is a big plus
Responsibilities
- Experience with architecting, designing and implementing large scale solutions. Works with key stakeholders to design complex solutions and lead from inception to production. Suggest solution approach for our software development needs.
- Able to lead and assist functional team members to design good solutions to difficult problems
- Analyze requirements to determine if enough level of detail is provided, and decomposing to user stories. If not, drive conversations to detail out the full request.
- Keep the bigger picture and software architecture in mind. Are we doing this in the right manner? Are we making the right choices?
- Provides and validates development estimations
- Manage and maintain relations with our providers of software development services and their development team
- Ensures solutions are properly tested; that test cases are written, maintained and executed.
- Able to provide guidance and apply change management best practices when introducing
- Ensures solutions properly address scalability, security and performance.
- Creates and maintains DevOps processes, application infrastructure and cloud services.

Analyst / Software Test Engineer
Job Description

As our business analyst / software test engineer, you we rely on you to make sure that all of the software we develop in-house is designed and working as expected. Specifically, we are look for your to help us design, develop and test our own ERP solution (based on Apache Ofbiz) inhouse. Do you want to joint this innovative team? If so, do you meet these qualifications?
Location

Skills
Education and work experience:
- 2 – 5 years of experience as a software test engineer or business analyst for both frontend and backend solutions is required
- At least 2 year working with ERP or OMS solutions is required
- At least 2 years in supply chain, logistics, trading (import/export) and/or e-commerce is required
- Basic knowledge/experience of Java, SQL, REST/SOAP, Json, XML
- ISTQB certificate is a plus
- Experience with testing automation is a plus
- Knowledge of middleware solutions is preferred
- Experience with Agile and/or remote offshore (development) teams is a big plus
- Excellent communications and team working skills are required
- Good English (written and verbal) communication is required
- Proficient mandarin (verbal) communication is preferred
- Experience with working in international companies or start-ups is a plus
Responsibilities
- Gather requirements, design solutions, write user stores and validate with end-users when needed
- Ensure proper handover of solution designs and concepts to the development team
- Create a test plan, test cases and testing schedule
- Execute and manage the test execution including defect management, issue resolution etc.
- Documentation of results
- Provide assistance during user acceptance testing
- Help us set up and improve testing procedures and best practices
- Help us set up automated testing procedures
